DIGITAL & CREATIVE MARKETING INTERN (MAY-AUG)

Role Overview:

The digital & creative marketing intern will work closely with our artist teams to execute on strategy across social platforms. This role has an emphasis on music discovery, both creating actionable ideas for artists' to execute on their own and content that would be best seeded on third-party platforms. Strong passion & understanding of music culture in the Hip-Hop/R&B/Electronic worlds is preferred. Looking for a true Digital-Native to help us tell some of the most compelling & original stories in music.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting research across key social platforms (Tik-Tok, Instagram, Twitter) on trends, best practices, and optimizations for our artist projects.

  • Co-designing & assisting in the creation of digital assets — including artist one-sheets, photo/video edits, flyers, etc.

  • Ideating with artists & managers on creative strategy. Building content calendars for rollouts & company social pages.

  • Scheduling phone calls, sending emails to media pages/influencers, assisting in comms between management & digital partners.

  • Drafting copy for digital email blasts, internal pitches, artist one-sheets, press releases etc

  • Supporting the day-to-day manager with marketing tasks & organizational duties.

  • Communicating with designers, videographers, photographers, marketing agencies etc & ensuring marketing operations runs smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Strong oral/written communication skills

  • An in-depth understanding of social media platforms, industry trends, new technologies and digital music services

  • Extensive knowledge of & passion for the digital music landscape, from Instagram meme pages to Tik-Tok music curator accounts.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working independently or with a brand on digital campaigns/social media management etc.

  • Ability to research, conduct successful outreach & manage an on-going social influencer database

  • Experience growing the following and engagement for a their own or a brand’s social media accounts

  • Excellent copywriting skills; ability to write under pressure for multiple campaigns & clients simultaneously

  • The highest attention to detail.

  • The drive to take initiative, work independently and be accountable while also working asa team player who is collaborative, positive and flexible

  • Knowledge using basic audio, photo and video editing programs

This is a paid internship. Rates vary based on experience.

PRODUCTION & LIVE EVENTS INTERN (MAY-AUG)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Production Intern to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our production team, assisting with various aspects of productions across our roster and event series, including music videos, photoshoots, live concerts, album listening parties, and more. From pre-production planning to on-set support and post-production tasks, you will play a vital role in bringing our creative visions to life & report directly to the Head of Live.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with pre-production tasks such as script development, location scouting, and production scheduling.

  • Provide support on set during shoots, including equipment setup, talent coordination, and ensuring a smooth production process.

  • Aid in post-production activities such as video editing, sound mixing, and finalizing deliverables for distribution.

  • Collaborate with the production team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and execute projects with precision and creativity.

  • Contribute to the overall success of productions by offering innovative solutions, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic.

Requirements:

  • A passion for the entertainment industry and a desire to pursue a career in production.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for productions and events.

  • Previous experience or coursework in film production, media studies, or related fields is preferred but not required.
